FA Cup Opponents enjoy latest victory

Huddersfield Town will be playing host to Conference South second placed side when Welling United visit the Galpharm Stadium next Sunday (13:00 kick-off). Welling are riding high in their division and with Danny Kedwell they have a potent in form striker.

The Wings secured a 4-2 victory at struggling Maidenhead United. Maidenhead fought back well in the second half to level the match at 2-2 after Welling had taken a 2-0 half time lead.

But two late Kedwell goals (one a penalty) both coming in the final seven minutes of the match gave Welling their 7th victory of the season. Kedwell now has 9 goals for the season.

In their last 6 matches Welling have amassed 14 points with 4 victories and 2 draws, they have also scored 11 goals and conceded just 4.

Match Result: Huddersfield Town 1-1 Swindon Town

The 300 supporters that travelled the near 300 miles north from Swindon, will have left the Galpharm Stadium the happier this evening, as Iffy Onoura's battling League One basement club took a deserved point from the match with Huddersfield Town.

The Terriers yet again failed to keep a clean sheet as Swindon took a first half lead from the penalty spot through Andy Gurney. Missing their top scorer and having only scored two away from home previously, the visiting supporters at half-time were dreaming of an upset.

Swindon are no strangers to winning in Huddersfield, but Chris Brandon brushed away any thoughts of a second home loss of the season by converting for the Terriers 10 minutes after half time.

Brandon has been a revelation since joining Town from Chesterfield and he again showed his potency in front of goal to strike for Peter Jackson side. But this afternoon the Terriers were just not good enough and did not stir the crowd enough, against the basement club this should have been better.

Maybe Peter Jackson should take some blame for his jaded side who look like they have lost the plot at the minute. Perhaps Jackson should have given more respect to the LDV trophy match, which Town lost at Boston United. Town now need to pick themselves back up for next Saturday's FA Cup match before a tricky trip to Yeovil Town in the league.

Losing points to lower placed sides at the Galpharm could cost them dearly. They lost 2 against Bournemouth, they have done it again today and if the Terriers are going to get promotion come May, they need a swift rocket up their backsides and soon.

Pawel Abbott seems to be going through his casual play routine at the moment, which is coinciding with Town's tricky spell. Nathan Clarke, who gave away a penalty is causing a few headaches with the odd mistake. But to be fair to Clarke, the penalty looked harsh on him - given for handball.

But credit to the visitors they came at the Terriers in the opening exchanges, got the goal then made it difficult for Town to break them down. They had a game plan and they stuck to it - end of story. Many teams will visit the Galpharm and do just what Swindon did - Town have to be better to break teams down in those situations.

Even Jackson stated that if Town had had carved out a victory and they could have with a last minute header from Abbott that went inches wide, it would have been an injustice.

Paul Rachbuka was key today he had a great match and kept Town in it, for the rest they were poor. If he was fit Martin McIntosh would be put straight back into the side for that old head, experience and to give some of the younger lads a lift.

And anybody thinking that the Sunday match with Welling United will be a push over and a easy game with many Town goals, need to think again. Welling are riding high at the moment and have a decent pedigree in the FA Cup, Jackson will need to give them all the respect in the world and ensure that his stuttering Terriers grind out a result.

For Swindon, they played well and gave a very good account of themselves, even their manager former Town favourite Iffy Onoura felt his side was unlucky to leave the Galpharm without all three points

Sparkling toast to Boothy!

Town manager Peter Jackson is asking all home supporters to turn up a little earlier than normal today, as 15 minutes before the match with Swindon Town kicks off he will make an on-field presentation to Andy Booth.

Jackson will present a special bottle of champagne to Booth to commentate his 100 league goals for Huddersfield Town

-

Carss spots up!

Midfielder Tony Carss will be on penalty taking duty for the visit of bottom club Swindon Town this afternoon. Carss will take over from Pawel Abbott who missed his second penalty of the season during last Saturday's 3-4 defeat at Chesterfield

-

Jackson points to patience

Peter Jackson is warning of complacency as League One's second placed side take to the field against the one place 24th. Jackson is expecting the visitors managed by former Town striker Iffy Onoura to get players behind the ball in a bid to frustrate the Terriers.

Jackson who hopes that Onoura will be given the job permanently to manage the Robins out of trouble, but hopes that his Terriers side bounce back from last week's disappointing defeat.

Jackson is warning it will not be an easy game. The manager is also expected to make just one change to the side that lost at Chesterfield and that is through suspension. Captain Jon Worthington picked up his fifth yellow card of the season at Chesterfield and the captain's armband will be given to Nathan Clarke.

Worthington's place in midfield is set to be taken over by Chris Brandon. Onoura is set to include former onloan Terriers Jefil Ilfil for Swindon's trip to the Galpharm after serving his two-match ban.

However on a striker front, Swindon will have to do without the services of Rory Fallen. Fallen who has scored eight goals this season - 7 of which have been in the league is Swindon's top scorer by a long way considering that they have scored only 15 league goals all season.

The Terriers will be looking to ensure that Swindon's on the road troubles continue with a victory this afternoon. The Robins have secured just 2 points on their travels and of the eight matches played scored only two goals.

Swindon's two away points came at Blackpool and Brentford with their two away goals at MK Dons and AFC Bournemouth. They have however beaten Nottingham Forest at the County Ground and made it difficult for league one leaders Southend United so far this season.

The Terriers either need a thumping win (last season they beat Swindon Town 4-0 at home) at least 4 clearer goals than Southend United win - or a favour from Bristol City who play Southend in the West Country this afternoon

Match Result: Chesterfield 4-3 Huddersfield Town

Over 2,000 Town fans watched the Terriers lose back to back matches in all competitions for the first time this season and since March last season (defeats away at Bradford City and Chesterfield), as Chesterfield - the voodoo side for Town in league competition at Saltergate - beat the Terriers in a seven goal thriller.

Town who beat Chesterfield 4-2 in the Carling Cup earlier this season saw a much improved home side achieve their biggest ever number of goals in a single match against Town to knock the Terriers off the top of the division.

Goals from Wayne Allison (11), Paul Hall (29) and Colin Larkin (44) gave the home side a 3-0 half time lead. The Terriers staged a second half come back, but leading scorer Pawel Abbott missed a 50th minute penalty - his second of the season - to give Town hope earlier on in the match.

Mark Hudson (80) gave brief hope, but Chesterfield's three goal lead was restored five minutes later when Shane Nicholson converted a penalty. Jon Worthington (87) and Andy Holdsworth (90) gave Town hope but Roy McFarland's side held on to record an impressive three points over Town.

A poor first half performance from Town in the first period matched by an inspired performance from Chesterfield saw the home side run in at half time deservedly 3-0 up. The first came from former Town striker Wayne Allison on 11 minutes. It came moments after a wonderful save from Paul Rachbuka. Allison smartly converted Larkin's centre.

18 minutes later things got worse for the visitors. With Town trying to get back to parity with the Spireites, it was the home side that doubled the lead. Abbott lost possession in the centre circle and Hall who was found by Allison beat two Town defenders before unleashing a wonderful shot that curled into the top left of the goal, giving Rachbuka no chance.

Town still tried to find a way through Chesterfield but the ball would just not fall and Abbott had a couple of half chances come to nothing. But if the second Chesterfield goal was not enough of a mistake from a Town player, the third was a comical mistake.

A mix up from David Mirfin on the edge of the Town area allowed Larkin to nip in and sweep the ball into the back of the net to leave Town embarrassingly looking at a disappointing defeat and relinquishing top stop to Southend United.

But an inspired team talk but bewildered Town manager Peter Jackson and a couple of substitutions brought Town right back into the game, but in the end it was too little too late.

Hope seem to spring for Town just five minutes into the second half. After seeing a couple of efforts well saved by home 'keeper Barry Roche, Abbott had the chance to score his 12th goal of the season from the spot.

But as the Polish striker did against Tranmere Rovers earlier this season, he saw his spot kick saved. Roche was in inspired form as he saved the blushes of Allison who tripped Mirfin in the box for the penalty.

Town continued to tick, but as the Town waves of attacks came forward, the Chesterfield defence and goalkeeper continually thwarted them. With each failed attack and with time running out it looked like Town was going to have just one of those days!

Former Chesterfield player Mark Hudson saw an effort on 78 minutes smartly blocked by man of the match Barry Roche in the home goal but two minutes later Hudson breached the goal and gave the Terriers a glimmer of hope.

Andy Booth's header was picked up by Hudson who coolly volleyed past Roche for his second goal of the season. But as the large away following dreamed of a comeback, referee Peter Walton ensured that there would be no titanic comeback.

Just five minutes after the Town goal a non-descript lash between Mirfin and goalscorer Larkin, saw the Spireite tumble to the ground and with minimal of touches the referee pointed to the spot. Unlike Abbott Nicholson made no mistake from 12 yards and despatched the ball with pace past the Terriers 'keeper.

But one thing Peter Jackson always says about his young side, they never stop going and never give up and credit to them for a young set of players they never gave up on the match.

Driven on by captain Jon Worthington Town 4-1 down with 5 minutes to play continued to push the home side back. Andy Booth;'s knock down found half-time substitute Gary Taylor-Flectcher who threaded the ball through to Worthington to smash the ball into the back of the net.

85 minutes gone: Chesterfield 4-2 Huddersfield - could what would have been an extraordinary comeback happen?

Well hope springs eternal and that is just what the travelling support had on 90 minutes when Andy Holdsworth with his first goal of the season scored Town's third away from home. A wonderful fluid move by the Terriers containing Taylor-Fletcher and Hudson found Holdsworth who finished off sweetly to send the travelling support into ecstasy

With an additional four minutes added on for injury time, the Terriers buoyed on by the two late goals and the noise from the away support went in search of what would have been a remarkable equaliser. But the efforts from the Town players just was not enough and Chesterfield did enough to hold out - but the Town fight-back had McFarland's side rocking.

Chesterfield played well in the first half, Allison gave the defence problems all afternoon and Colin Larkin's raids gave food for thought throughout the match for Holdsworth and Danny Adams. It was a thoroughly entertaining match in which the first half showing from Chesterfield was enough for them to win it.

What was pleasing was that Town had a mountain to climb at half time, and they almost climbed it every step of the way. Had Abbott not missed the 50th minute penalty, had the referee not given a weak penalty for Chesterfield's fourth then things could have been so much different.

Town too did not lose much ground in the bigger picture of the league table. Southend, Swansea and Brentford all drew whilst the ever improving Nottingham Forest lost at Yeovil Town. The performance from the Terriers was far improved in the second half and throughout the contest Town had 20 shots - 15 on target.

To have that number of chances and to score three away from home and still lose is disappointing and to add to that the Terriers had 11 corners and 53% of the possession will be pleasing for Jackson as he will have recognised his side went for it.

Match Result: Boston United 2-1 Huddersfield Town, LDV Northern 1

A lacklustre Town display from a much changed and very young Town saw the Terriers knocked out of the Members Cup (LDV Vans Trophy) at the first round.

Town's only cheer of the night for a very inexperienced side came from David Mirfin's goal on 68 minutes. Either side of that the home side had secured a goal and deservedly booked their place in the next round

Town boss Peter Jackson had five new players in the team handing three full debuts out, and although Jackson was delighted with their attitude and the experience gained from the trip to York Street, he states that the team will be back to full strength for the clash with fellow promotion outfit Chesterfield on Saturday.

Jackson who does not denounce the competition, but continues to stress that league promotion is the key, believes the younger members of the team will have gained wonderful experience after facing an experienced and physical Boston united side - who have now won their last 4 home matches.

In the end it was sloppy defending that cost Town a chance to progress, but Jackson once again sang the praises of central defender John McCombe. Should Wigan approach Town in the next transfer window about Nathan Clarke, and Town choose to let him go, they certainly have a player in McCombe good enough to fill the vacant spot.

So much was the team changed around, and perhaps in some ways bizarrely at the end of the match Town goal scorer David Mirfin partnered his central defender partner Nathan Clarke in attack. Mirfin took his goal very well having been set-up by a lovely weighted pass from captain Jon Worthington.

Town have not performed in this competition now for the last four seasons exiting the competition in round one or two of a tournament they reached the final of in 1994.

The Town youngsters battled hard and gave a good account of themselves but once Alan White had put United in front on 28 minutes and sealed it with Brad Maylett sealed it on 74 minutes just six minutes after Town's leveller.

Town's Academy praised

A Football League survey as revealed that Huddersfield Town's academy is the best in the business. Town have the highest number of graduates progressing through to the first team than any other club in the whole of country.

Much of the success of the academy is down to it's Director Gerry Murphy, who has done a sterling job for the Terriers for many years now and will be much missed when he retires soon.

A measure of the quality of the products coming out of the academy that during the 2-1 defeat at Boston United on Wednesday evening Peter Jackson's side had 10 players on the pitch at the end of the match 22 years old or under and all products of the Town academy

FA Cup Draw - Saturday

The FA Cup draw for the first round proper which will have the name of Huddersfield Town in it. The draw will commence at 17:10 from Soho Square with Town numbered 21. The draw will be made by Sir Tom Finney and former Chelsea player Roy Bentley.

Victory in the First Round of the FA Cup would net Town £16,000 - as they are joined by all the clubs in League's One and Two and 32 non-league sides.

Other noticeable numbers are: 40 Stockport County, who beat the Terriers in round 1 last season, 57 Accrington Stanley (if they beat Worcester City in the fourth qualifying round on Saturday afternoon), who beat the Terriers live on BBC television in 2003.

If they win their fourth qualifying matches, York City will be 55, Ossett Town will be 56, Halifax will be 59. Conference leaders Grays Athletic will be 69, whilst local league one rivals Bradford City will be numbered 6

Jewell tracks Pav?!

Town star striker Pawel Abbott who has scored 11 goals this season is wanted by premiership surprise package Wigan Athletic. It is the second player Wigan are reportedly interested in with Wigan been touted to be planning a move for central defender Nathan Clarke.

Paul Jewell the Wigan manager is tipped to be planning to offer the Terriers £1 million for Abbott. But Wigan are also linked with Middlesbrough striker Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink and Birmingham City defender Mario Melchiot, so the stories about Jewell planing a double raid on Peter Jackson's table topping side could be all rumours.

They could be all down to the fact that Jewell was in the crowd and shown on SKY television during Town's 2-1 victory at Bradford City last Monday and of course it could all be simply newspaper talk!

Match Result: Huddersfield Town 3-1 Walsall

A wonderful display by Town in which they had 72% of ball possession and a victory at The Earth Stadium for Doncaster Rovers over Southend United took the Terriers back on top of the League One table.

They did it in wonderful style defeating Walsall 3-1 at the Galpharm Stadium, in what proved to be a comfortable victory for Peter Jackson's side in what was their fifth victory in seven matches and produced a landmark 100th league go in Town colours for legend Andy Booth.

The visitors had equalised before Pawel Abbott's brace smashed all hopes of an upset at the Galpharm to send Town top. Abbott was in wonderful form scoring two and creating Andy Booth's 15th minute opener. The 3-1 scoreline flatters Paul Merson's Walsall as it could have been many more. Town captain John Worthington hit the post in the first attack and within 60 seconds of the start.

Jackson said of his side who he believes are playing well "It's great to see ... and we are looking strong". Jackson also revealed that his aim is for promotion and with Town playing excellent football, and getting better with each match, the Terriers could well just do that.

With 14 games gone, the Terriers are looking well placed for promotion to the Championship

LDV Match on Wednesday night

Table topping Huddersfield Town travel the relatively short distance south to York Street to take on Boston United. Boston who are in League Two are in fine form themselves and although sit only 11th in the division had a great 3-1 victory over Bristol Rovers on Saturday.

United are also unbeaten in their last 8 matches with 4 victories and 4 defeats and have won three of their last 4 home matches, including their last two.

United have some quality in their side including Julian Joachim (who is top scorer for them this season), Noel Whelan and Lawrie Dudfield. Boston also have former Town player Chris Holland in their squad and Boston manager Steve Evans will be hoping to give Peter Jackson's free-flowing Terriers a shock.

Town manager Peter Jackson has said that he will make changes for the trip to York Street, as he aims to keep Town ticking on to promotion in the league. But Boston must not be underestimated as they have won their last three matches and the Town side that is put out by Jackson will need to battle against a good looking Boston on paper.

The LDV Match with Boston United at York Street is all pay on the day at the turnstiles. Seating costs £10 and £5 concessions, whilst standing areas are £8 and £4

Brandon out? as Schofield set to return

Chris Brandon could be ruled out of Saturday's match with Walsall at the Galpharm Stadium with a twisted ankle. Brandon suffered the injury during Town's impressive 2-1 victory at Valley Parade on Monday evening and the injury to the Bradford born player is worse than first thought.

With Brandon set to miss Saturday's match, there is better news for Peter Jackson as Danny Schofield came through yesterday's training fitness test and will feature against Paul Merson's side on Saturday. It looks likely that Schofield will replace Brandon in the starting line-up.

Martin McIntosh is also in full time training as he looks to get back to full fitness after suffering a lengthy injury

-

Mendes loaned out

Struggling Town striker Junior Mendes as been loaned out to League Two side Northampton Town in order for him to get some first team experience in the hope of goals and ultimately improving his confidence.

Mendes who has scored six times last season for Town has found breaking through into the first team difficult this term, but as featured highly for the reserves, impressing in many matches.

The Cobblers were keen on taking Mendes on loan, and Terriers boss Peter Jackson was happy to allow the striker to move on a one-month loan deal. The 29-year old could start for Colin Calderwood's side against Oxford United on Friday evening.

Meanwhile Jackson has said he knows nothing of Wigan's interest in Nathan Clarke

Schofield not to be risked

The impressive Danny Schofield is not to be risked by Town against Walsall if he is not fit to conduct a full training session tomorrow. Schofield who was substituted during the 2-2 home draw with Bournemouth did not feature in the Terriers victory against Bradford City

Town reserves in draw

This afternoon the Town reserves drew 2-2 at the Galpharm with Sheffield United in the Pontins League Cup. The team that Town put out, bar striker Junior Mendes all came from the Town junior ranks.

It was another hardworking display from a young side against an impressive United side, which Town beat 1-0 last week in the league. Town took the lead just before the break when Matthew Biddle scored. Moments after the break it was all square Pericard headed home.

Town regained the lead on 67 minutes when James Hand corner was converted into a goal by David Walls, but on 74 minutes the United side were level once more through a spectacular Armstrong free-kick.

It was once again an impressive run out for Town with John McCombe and Tom Clarke excellent in defence

-

Wigan poised to move for Nathan Clarke

Nathan Clarke is wanted by top flight Wigan Athletic to add some youth to their defence. Athletic manager Paul Jewell has watched and had Clarke watched on numerous occasions and every time the Town youth product has excelled.

Is Abbott the latest injury scare? Plus other injury news update

Town boss Peter Jackson has indicated that leading scorer Pawel Abbott could be missing from the trip to Bradford City has the Polish striker is suffering for a virus. Jackson has indicated that Abbott has not trained for five days.

But could it all be management kidology from Jackson?

Could the star striker who has not scored for three matches be preparing to end the drought by scoring against City? Jackson is certainly not new to extending the truth.

If he is injured Andy Booth is likely to be recalled to the starting line-up having enjoyed a few matches of rest and will partner Gary Taylor-Fletcher in attack.

Danny Schofield is set to play after overcoming a groin injury, but Schofield who has undergone intensive treatment will have until Monday afternoon to prove his fitness.

Martin McIntosh has been given the all clear by his specialist and will begin his recuperation under the watchful eye of the Town medical team.

But for Adnan Ahmed is to face another scan Saturday, as the one he has had this week did not prove where the problem is coming from.

Town reserves overcome strong Sheffield United side

The reserves won again last night with a Junior Mendes goal the winner. Town beat a strong Sheffield United side 1-0 at the Galpharm Stadium.

David Mirfin also came through the full match unscathed and will be in first team manager Peter Jackson's thoughts for the West Yorkshire derby with Bradford City on Monday evening. Mirfin was also part of a lovely move that ended with a wonderfully executed goal by Mendes.

The visitors who top the league had previously been unbeaten proved very little in attack, as the Town defence did well to marshal the United side. Town's second string who were watched by first team boss Peter Jackson put in a stirring work rate to topple the leaders.

United started well, but once Town had took the lead on 51 minutes it was them who looked likely to extend the lead, as the lively Matthew Young had a great game in attack.

Commenting on the victory a United coach said that the two central defenders for Town (Mirfin and John McCombe) were "outstanding" as an hardworking Town side moved to within one point of the United A reserve side at the top of the league

-

Mirfin is back!

Peter Jackson gave David Mirfin a lift before Town played the Blades in a reserve match by saying if Mirfin comes through the full 90 minutes it is "all systems go". If Jackson chooses to play Mirfin, he is likely to come in for Tom Clarke ending the 8-match Clarke partnership in the centre of the Terriers defence.

Mirfin who today joined the rest of the first team squad in training as told the manager "I'm ready" as Town prepare for their next match. His damaged hamstring is now fully recovered and he was delighted with the tough test against the Blades second string

Jackson has acknowledged that his squad is battling for positions in the Town side and there is healthy competition amongst the squad members.

He also confirmed that the name of David Mirfin could well appear in the team to face Bradford City. Jackson simply said of his big talented 20 year old defender "He's back"

-

Schofield still well on the way to match fitness

Jackson and the Town medical team are working with impressive Danny Schofield to ensure that he is fully fit for the match with City.

Town will assess the midfielder who was subbed from the game with AFC Bournemouth on Saturday due to a groin injury.

However thankfully for the player and Town a scan revealed that it was only a strain and not as first feared a tear and the 25-year old will now work on his fitness to be ready for Town's next match.

-

Windass in City dug-out

Dean Windass will be in the Bradford City dugout for the visit of Town to Valley Parade on Monday evening. He will be trying to use his spirit to support his colleagues, as they look to beat Town for the second consecutive season at Valley Parade

Windass is suspended for the match with the Terriers having chalked up five yellow cards for the season. His fifth came during Bradford's 2-2 draw with Doncaster Rovers on Saturday afternoon.

-

Big blue and white army planned at VP

Town have sold over 2,200 tickets for the derby match with Bradford and the ticket office as confirmed that these will remain on sale until 3pm on Monday.

It's not a bad following so far for the Terriers considering the derby match is live on SKY sports television.

Tosh in specialist talks

Big Scottish defender Martin McIntosh is seeing his specialist again today in the hope to get the all clear to set up his recovery from injury. After making an impressive start to his Town career 'Tosh' injured his knee during the Terriers 4-2 first round Carling Cup match at Chesterfield, and he has not featured since.

Lee Martin of the Town medical team believes that if Tosh is given the all clear then he should return to the Town squad within three or four weeks.

For the 34 year old former Rotherham United captain he will be rearing to go after making just 5 appearances for the club he joined in the Summer

Schofield fit for West Yorkshire derby match

Inform Danny Schofield has the scan he had for his groin injury he received during Saturday's 2-2 Galpharm draw with Bournemouth as revealed that the injury is not as bad as first thought.

Schofield has a slight strain rather than a tear, but Town physio Lee Martin will keep an eye on Schofield who has scored six goals already this season and would be a key player in manager Peter Jackson's thoughts for the short trip to face Bradford City in six days time.

Schofield's fellow crocked midfielder Adnan Ahmed is struggling badly to get back to fitness following his knee injury. Ahmed who came through a reserve game last week is still feeling the effects of the injury and is set to see the specialist again

McAliskey back in Town!

Big striker John McAliskey is back at Huddersfield after his loan period at Torquay United ended abruptly. McAliskey joined the Gulls on loan on Friday but during United's match at Cheltenham Town he picked up a groin strain and has returned North for treatment.

It comes as a big disappointment for McAliskey who is set to return South in two weeks time. Gulls manager Leroy Rosenior praised the efforts of McAliskey following Torquay's 1-0 victory.

Without a doubt McAliskey will be returning to Torquay once fit, with Town boss Peter Jackson saying " We hope he won't be away too long and as soon as he is fit he will go back to Plainmoor", and United will not want him to stay away too long, as the tall Huddersfield born striker had a excellent game for the Gulls

Young Academy product John McAliskey has left Huddersfield Town to join League Two side Torquay United. The deal is a month loan for the 21-year old striker who has yet to feature this season and will offer McAliskey some valuable first team experience.

McAliskey who featured in Town's reserve victory this week as been given clearance to play for United in the LDV competition.

Town boss Jackson admits that after circulating his name Torquay was quick off the mark and he believes the experience will be good for the youngster. McAliskey travelled down to Devon yesterday and could feature in the Gulls trip to Cheltenham Town this afternoon.

Leroy Rosenior who has seen his Torquay side struggle this season after League One relegation last season said "He (McAliskey) comes well recommended and will give me more options up front where his height should be a critical factor".

McAliskey told the official United side, that he is not sure how long he will be playing at Plainmoor, but Huddersfield are a good club and because "they're doing so well" he has not had the chance to feature
