Result: Huddersfield Town 1-1 Torquay United
Town remain 13th in the League One table following the 1-1 Galpharm draw with Devon side Torquay United. It is lightening strike's again for Town as they lose a home lead to draw for the second time in a week.

Having lost a 2-0 lead at home on Monday against Bristol City, Peter Jackson's side lost the lead given to them by Efe Sodje on 24 minutes. In windy conditions Town settled the better and following a Tony Carrs corner Efe Sodje headed home. John McAliskey missed a glorious chance to put Town further ahead in the first half.

Top goal scorer Pawel Abbot and striker Junior Mendes were both missing for the Terriers with flu, so Akpo Sodje started the match, the rest of the starting line-up was unchanged.

This was a better performance from Town who could have been leading by more than the single goal at half-time. But with Town trying to avenge the 2-1 defeat at Torquay in October, found the Devon side more resilient than last season's visit to Huddersfield and grabbed an equaliser just moments into the second half.

It proved to be the only shot on target the visitors would have in the game that would get the a point at the Galpharm. It came following a sweet shot from Kevin Hill on 56 minutes that levelled for the Gulls. It was harsh on Town who dominated the game, and came following an attempted clearance from Sodje.

It was a youthful forward line for the Terriers. As the Devon press rightfully state that when the Terriers are good they are very good, but when they are bad, they are distastefully inept.

This was a better performance for the Terriers but again could only yield a point. The home form from the Terriers this season is worrying and with 60% of the possession and 15 shots to 1 and 6 more corners than United, this was really a game that Town did enough to secure all three points from.

The Terriers now need a victory from the next match at Barnsley next Saturday
