Colchester United (away) ticket prices

Huddersfield Town will visit Colchester United's new 10,000 all seater stadium on Saturday August 16. The Stadium is situated in the Cuckoo Farm area of the town and will be the U's first match at the stadium since their summer move from Layer Road. Ticket prices for match which will see Town fans housed in the South Stand are: Block 1 Block 2 Block 3 Block 4 Family Block (Block 5) Wheelchair and carer or Disabled and carer (in any stand) Carer is free As of August 12, Colchester United confirmed the above prices and advised that 1,800 tickets will be available. Although there will be no tickets supplied to the Town ticket office due to issues with their new ticketing system. Town fans should be able to purchase tickets via their online e-commerce system from tomorrow (August 13), which is available via the official Colchester website.To purchase your match tickets either purchase online at https://tickets.colchesterunited.net/ or purchase on the day of the match. These tickets will not be posted so you will have to pick them up at the U's ticket office on the day of the match.No away parking is available so supporters are advised to use the shuttle bus service. Again details are available on the official Colchester United website. Town fans will occupy the South Stand. * The layout of the stadium including the blocks can be found here. We have been unable to find a specific capacity for the South Stand, although it is rumoured to be in the 1,500 to 1,750 capacity across the five blocks. There is car parking around the stadium complex which is just off the main A12 trunk road but this is limited and costs £10 per car (600 spaces). A shuttle bus service will be in operation with supporters parking in the Colchester Business park. No further news is available on the number of tickets available for the first away match of the 2008/2009 season, which should take place at the Weston Homes Community Stadium. Colchester's Stadium Operations head Keith Turner is confident that their new stadium will be ready to entertain Stan Ternent's side in the second week of the new season. Turner told a national newspaper "There are a lot of people working extremely hard behind the scenes to ensure we do start the season at the new stadium, and it would be wrong to focus on the negative side of. The truth of the matter is I am very confident that everything will be ready, we might have small areas of the West Stand that may not be quite finished when the turnstiles open for the fans but those things will be finished fairly quickly."
